The Basis of the Therapeutic House Martin Keymer

The Therapeutic House tries to communicate the fundamentals of a right lifestyle without pursuing dogmas or paradigms that also exist in the naturopathic field. The individual starting situation of the person plays here an essential part.

The Basis of the Therapeutic House Martin Keymer - eating, drinking, care, exercise and psychosocial environment - serves to establish the prerequisite of a far reaching therapeutic approach and the capability for an effective detoxification and a sufficient vital energy potential as well.

The basis of the Therapeutic House Martin Keymer is synonymous with the way an individual leads his life, the prerequisites for getting well and staying well. The basis or pillars on which this house stands represent the firm fundament for a healthy life.

These are the pillars:

Eating

1. Food

In the first place, eating is the need to grant our body the sufficient minerals, vitamins, trace elements, and fiber. Food is what we give our body, the necessary substances to live. Let us then take our nutrients with the idea that these are the ones that permit us to live. So, denatured and dead food (meaning by this fast-food and junk-food) cannot be included within the list of nutrients. Thus, it can be said very clearly: semi-luxury food can also be a part of the nutrients. A healthy way of living does not mean to renounce pleasures. The goal of the Therapeutic House Martin Keymer is not to turn anyone into a “health slave”, but it is important to consider the individual given facts.

2. Food allergies

One of the most frequent hidden individual causes of chronic diseases are food allergies. The problem with food allergies is that the reaction to a food allergen, especially in basic foodstuff allergies, is completely different from the reaction we know from other allergies, for example hay fever. Decisive is that allergic reactions to hay fever may occur immediately after contact (sneezing, coughing, itching eyes, itching skin), while food allergies sometimes are silent and at other times show symptoms that at first seem unrelated to the problem, such as stomach ache, for example, or a sensation of nausea, weakness or other similar symptoms. But these are also related to some diseases (as for example, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, and rheumatic complaints) which, at first, are not associated with a food allergy. But the reactions in the body take place, meaning that vital life energy is constantly being used to combat the allergy.

Many diseases are maintained by a food allergy, as for example migraine, chronic or recurrent bladder inflammations, itching skin, anal fissures, acne vulgaris, and pain symptoms of any kind, to name a few. The discovery of an allergic food substance is possible by using the services of a trained bioenergetic therapist, who, by using a bioenergetic testing method and applying the invers oscillation of the allergen through the bioresonance therapy apparatus, will recognise very fast and with certainty these allergens (see also substance’s own oscillations). This then is followed by an anti-allergic bioresonance treatment with very high chances for improvement. Eventually, restriction of the allergy substances may be recommended for a certain period of time.

3. Pork Meat

For the Therapeutic House Martin Keymer, there is only one strong rule, and this is the prohibition of pork meat consumption. This prohibition is for the therapy period and also for the time after it. The pork meat prohibition is a condition for getting well and also maintaining this well-being. This includes the “beloved” pork cutlet as well as everything else that contains pork, such as pork sausage, pork fat (included, for example, in calf-liver sausage or turkey sausage), pork drippings, and also ham and bacan, as well as Parma ham (which is also made out of pork, because there is no Parma animal). Even gelatine and also sometimes skin-care products contain traces of pork fat.

Why is this absolute pork meat prohibition so imperative? The answer is: pork is highly toxic (highly poisenous) for human beings, for several reasons:

First of all, pork meat contains a high percentage of fat. Pork meat is the only animal meat that also has fat inside the cell. (Normally, the fat is only found within the fatty tissues.) That is the reason why we can also bake a pork roast in its own juice, even if the meat was bought completely without fat.

Pork meat also has a very high amount of cholesterol. The human body needs cholesterol to fulfill certain tasks, for example, to build up cell membranes, but too high amounts of cholesterol lead to cholesterol sedimentation in the blood vessel walls, a prerequisite for arteriosclerosis.

Pork meat has a very bad protein structure and therefore also a very high decay rate. It rapidly goes to a putrefaction stage. The putrefaction products that develop in this process affect considerably the intestine, lymph, blood, liver, and all the organs that have to do with detoxification, and also all elimination organs. The fast putrefaction can easily be seen and proven by leaving out a piece of this kind of meat at body temperature (about 37°C) with a high humidity rate (as in the intestines), for about 48 hours (intestine passing period).

So it is not strange that in some warm regions of the world, pork meat is not to be found at the butcher. The fact that in many countries there is a religious prohibition to pork-meat consumption then appears to be a prohibition with a very practical background.

Pork meat has a very negative effect on the connective tissue structure. The connective tissue has the task of maintaining the body as a whole structure. The water that is absorbed by the connective tissue is held by small molecular compounds, the so-called mucopolysaccharides that for the most part contain sulphur. The more mucopolysaccharides are present in the connective tissue, the more water is held and the more swollen it is. Pork meat is highly sulphurous therefore high pork meat consumption leads to depositing high amount of these sulphurous compounds in the connective tissue. The connective tissue absorbs water like a sponge. This damages the collagen and elastic fibers a great deal and causes them to age in a short time.

As these sulphurous compounds are organ-specific, it can be recognised which pork meat a certain person likes the best: abdomen/bacon, back/bacon, neck/chops and ham. Unwanted fat accumulations on the buttocks and on the thighs are mostly due to ham fat.

These mucous substances contained in pork meat are also accumulated in the tendons, ligaments and cartilage of the musculoskeletal system. As a result, this tissue swells up, it becomes soft and less resistant. Tendons and ligaments overstretch more easily. They are not longer capable to withstand the strains, and the cartilage degenerates. The development of ligament problems, rheumatism, arthritis, and intervertebral disk damage is often related to the consumption of pork products.

Pork meat is rich in growth hormones, an effect that not only contributes to fast growth in children up to puberty, but also has an important effect on adults. An excess of growth hormones supports infections and tissue swelling, besides other problems. Due to the fact that pork meat supports all kinds of growing processes, it also contributes to the development and growth of cancer cells.

Pork meat also has a high histamine concentration, the highest to be found in meat animals. Histamine is a highly effective tissue hormone and plays a special part in the violent reactions of allergic persons. So pork meat promotes allergic processes from hay fever and asthma to skin allergies and neurodermatitis, etc. Histamine also supports infectious processes like abscesses, furuncles, carbuncles, intestinal inflammations, vein inflammations, infectious skin diseases, and eczema formations. In every stress problem there is a histamine release, which promotes the negative appearance of stress problems; and as a consequence surpasses the reasonable stress level, causing problems like stomach aches, heart arrhythmia, and heart infarct.

Particularly due to the massive production of this animal, pigs have become very stressed animals. In the past, pigs were robust animals. Our grandparents knew that it was possible to ride on a pig, but these days the back of a pig can no longer support all that weight. Pigs suffer from massive stress, a high adrenaline release, and with heart attacks. This is known in every pig breeding farm. Because of their high sensitivity , they constantly need to be inoculated and treated and filled up with antibiotics, sedatives and other medications, the residues of which are then surely present in their meat.

Altogether, we can say that the pig is a sick and contaminated animal, and this is the reason the therapists from the Therapeutic House Martin Keymer strictly prohibit the consumption of pork meat for the remainder of the patient’s life.

4. Death lies inside the instestines!

This old saying comes from the medical master Paracelsus. Actually, the intestine is one of the most important switching centers in our body. It not only serves to break down our nutrition, but it is also the most important organ for the stimulation of our immune system. It defines The “lively” state of our immune system and it is our biggest detoxification organ.

Intestinal functioning has a direct relationship to a possibly optimal complement of bacterial colonisation inside the intestine. This bacterial colonisation guarantees optimal intestinal functioning.

5.Sugar

Refined and denatured white sugar has negative effects on the normal physiological intestinal bacteria. These bacteria react to the denatured sugar with growth inhibition, especially the so very important coli bacteria. The consequence is a location change of the bacterial colonisation, as already explained under 4.). The “parking lots” that are now available may then be occupied by bacteria that do not belong to the intestine, which then leads to the fact that sugar is indirectly responsible for causing a putrefaction and fermentation process as already described under point 6). An intestinal rehabilitation can only be effective if sugar is taken out of the normal feeding habits for a long period of time so as to be able to create a change of environment in the intestine.

All this is especially related to refined sugar (i.e., white sugar and brown sugar). Sugar contained in fruits is in its natural form, and thus does not play any role in this problem. Honey is also allowed. Even if the bees are fed with sugared water, the passage through the bee’s body activates biologically the sugar. Sweeteners should be eliminated from the diet because they seem to have a direct relationship with cancer activation.

Sugar consumption should be controlled even after intestine rehabilitation. First of all, it is known that sugar is a vitamin and mineral robber and that it also contributes to the formation of caries. The main problem for this holistic sugar stress is surely the frequency of sugar consumption. In the morning in the marmalade, at lunch in the dessert, in the afternoon in a piece of cake to go with the coffee, and at noon in a little snack, and at any time in another little something. Sugar is always involved. This continuous sugar consumption, even if consumed in small quantities, leads to a steady sweetening of the intestinal environment and consequently to constant intestinal stress.

If, however, you eat at one time a whole chocolate bar and leave then the sugar out of your diet for some days, this problem is of no importance.

6. Digestion

The problems that develop from a deficient digestion depend on the weakness of the particular enzyme group.

7. Body weight

Our body weight naturally depends on the way we lead our life. Both being overweight as well as underweight are very damaging to our body due to the fact that in these situations all the organs are affected. Being underweight is mostly a consequence of a deficiency in breaking down nutrition (as described above), or it has to do with physical problems that may, for example, be caused through the intestine (see fermentation and putrefaction). Being overweight, on the other hand, requires reducing. This overweight problem should be discussed with the therapist, taking into consideration adequate weight control possibilities.

8. Sufficient supply with vitamins, minerals and trace elements

A main condition for optimal functioning of man’s steady state is a sufficient amount of vitamins, minerals and trace elements. This necessary amount is, as a rule, mostly provided in the nutrients we consume. Unfortunately, the problem is that the quality of the nutrients we consume has become notoriously deficient. A comparison study of the years 1986 to 1995 will demonstrate this fact.

The price we now pay for the intensive agriculture that we have been employing for many years is the impoverishment of the soil. It does not contain the vital substances as before. This refers not only to classical agriculture but also to ecological agriculture. A further problem is that these vitamins, minerals and trace elements can only be released from the chyme if the nutrients can be broken down correspondingly. If this is not the case, then the supply of vitamins, minerals and trace elements is of no use. One last thing is that we have a tremendous increase of environmental poisons. Many vitamins, minerals, and trace elements work upon these environmental toxins by binding them and rendering them inoffensive. As these environmental toxins are also consumed with the food we eat, the ingested and released vitamins, minerals and trace elements react with these environmental noxae already in the intestine, and in the end they are of no use to the organism.

Therefore, a substitution of orthomolecular substances, vitamins, minerals, and trace elements is sometimes essential.

Which orthomolecular substances are to be taken in which proportions is easily established by a trained natural healing therapist, hand-in-hand with the bioenergetic tests. The orthomolecular substances also need to be bio-available.

Drinking

Water is the most important nutrient. Even if we do not consume any food for days, the amount of liquid must be sufficient for the body. An important factor to take into account is maintaining a water balance due to the loss of water in the body through perspiration, for example. Another important point for drinking water is to provide sufficient amounts of liquid for urine production and thus kidney function. Even though for compensating bodily liquids through loss of water (for example sweating) any kind of liquids (from food, coffee, tea, etc.) are adequate, for detoxification function the kidneys need essentially one liquid, namely water! Water, as clean and clear as possible.

Louis Pasteur once said: “We drink 90% of our diseases.”

Care

First of all, the concept “Care” refers to the solicitude and the attention we give our body. Especially when referring to a sick body, it is the needed attention the body requires to get well again. Thus care is something very special and also intimate. The way we take care of ourselves is a very important component of holistic medicine.

Care means to sleep enough, to give oneself some rest, and also to experience nice things, to enjoy something, to protect oneself from damaging influences, to nourish oneself carefully and to get necessary exercise. It also means to take sufficient care of our own selves, to do something good for our own person.

As an example, we can take a sauna or a relaxing bath; we can enjoy our daily skin care or the act of looking into the mirror. These activities, together with many others, are components of care.

Besides these more psychological aspects of care - the attention and solicitude - the other factors of the Therapeutic House play an essential part: Eating, Drinking, Sleeping, Exercise, Psychosocial surroundings.

But also a gentle non-irritating skin care Not only is the skin our external covering and our outer image that shows our good or not so good appearance, it is also our mirror-image. Besides the known basic functions of the skin, such as the heat regulation of our body and the detoxification function through perspiration, the skin is also our soul mirror-image. It is like the “feeling well in our own skin”; or “ be conscious of what I really am under my own skin”; thus our skin needs a careful attention.

The skin is a very important perception organ for us. Even without seeing or smelling someone, we can feel through our skin some reactions and also perceive people, and even perceive sympathy and antipathy. We can also perceive softness, warmth, coldness, and concern. We can, feel, sense, and love.

For trained therapists, who have recognized skin problems, the skin is a very important therapy organ. Many therapies aim at the activation of the so-called dermatomic areas. A dermatomic area is a particular part of the skin which has a direct contact with a certain organ. In other words, this dermatomic area does not only have a direct connection to the brain (see pain sensation); but also a connection with related organs.

This can be explained as follows:

For example a woman who suffers from menstrual cramps. Every woman knows that “by applying a hot-water bottle on the lower abdomen, the cramps will get better and the better feeling will be carried throughout the whole body, so the sensation will be of warmth within the whole body.” But the warmth from the hot-water bottle penetrates a few millimeters only into our body and stays stuck in the subcutaneous fat Where does the warm feeling come from then? The explanation is simple. The warmth from the hot-water bottle is taken up by the nerve cells in the skin area as a nervous impulse. This nervous impulse is then taken up by the vegetative nervous system to the affected organ, which then acts to dissolve the cramps in the muscles and stimulates the circulation. So this is how the warm feeling is perceptible. However, it must be placed on the right skin area.

Many therapists take advantage of these connections between skin reflection zones and organ areas, for example: by rubbing in applications of ointments, balneotherapy, kneippism, massages, cupping, baunscheidtism (Baunscheidt’s air-puncture treatment) lymphatic draining, segment-targeted neural therapy, acupuncture, among others. But this interaction does not exist only using therapeutic impulses; it is also perceptible in everyday occurrences. So, we can find a relationship between stressed organs and correspondingly stressed skin areas. By just observing the skin reflex zones, we can draw conclusions regarding organ stresses because of these areas where noticeable skin changes develop. Every well-trained cosmetician knows about this. With that the skin is one of the most sensitive systems of our body and that is precisely the reason why it is so important to carry out non-allergenic skin care.

There is another component that plays a significant role, namely the paraffin problem. First of all, paraffin waxes are taken out during crude oil processing to gasoline. These paraffins would jam the gasoline lines in our cars. Because we produce so much gasoline, paraffin can be found in abundance, so to speak as a waste product of the petroleum industry.

Paraffin is extremely slow to react, which means that paraffin cannot bind with environmental noxae bacteria and other similar contaminants or pollutants. This can be used in a positive way. Paraffin purification can be obtained at over 99%, which means that paraffin can be put on an open surgical wound and not cause any wound infection by doing so. The problem with paraffin in daily care is that this slow-reacting wax cover applied to the skin acts like a kind of polyethylene bag on the skin. For this reason it leads to accumulations in the subcutaneous tissue, and the normal positive chain-reaction of the skin reflex zones is turned into a negative one. Used now and then it does not cause harm; but constant use of creams, body lotions, and soap containing paraffin plays an important role. It is one of the hidden individual causes of chronic stresses and reduction of vital energy. Thus, paraffin-free skin care is one of the essential components of the Therapeutic House. The correspondingly trained therapist will give you tips and important recommendations regarding this fact, referring to which skin care you may use, and through bioenergetic testing he will identify which additives in your skin care are preferable to use and which are not.

Sleeping

Sleep is our most important regeneration period. As we well know, sleeplessness – better stated: sleep deprivation – rapidly leads us to intense and serious psychological and physical symptoms. A good and relaxing sleep is naturally dependent on our psychological situation, as well as on external influences. The following factors are of main importance:

Sleeping ergonomics:

These refer to: the right sleeping space, the right bed, the right bed structure, the right mattress, the
right bed cover, and the right pillow.

Elektro-smog-stress:

During sleep, we are especially very susceptible to electro-smog stress. Quartz alarm clocks and radio alarm clocks, badly isolated electric cables play an important role, just as much as sleeping directly beside a high-voltage tower, or sleeping directly near, over or under a strong electro-magnetic field (for example, high-voltage boxes, kitchen ranges in the adjoining apartment, etc.)

Our vegetative nervous system knows two regulation systems that mutually influence each other: the so-called tonus of the sympathetic system and the parasympathetic nervous system. The tonus of the sympathetic system is our willingness to perform. Whenever we have been under stress during the day, we enter the sympathetic system. However, when at sleep, we go into the parasympathetic system. Within the parasympathetic phase, the e-smog stress has an especially negative impact. Classic symptoms are: difficulty falling asleep, light sleep, constant waking with difficulty falling asleep again, early waking, the sensation of an internal restlessness, not reaching a feeling of complete rest, an internal restlessness during sleeping time, feeling pins and needles in the legs and arms, cramps in the stomach area, headache development during sleeping hours, etc.

Geopathical stress:

Further stress is generated by so-called geopathical stress, Erdstrahlen as well as magnetic fields, water …, especially also …… . Its symptoms are similar to the e-smog stress.

Exercise

A further essential criterium for getting well and also staying well is exercise. Exercise means to activate the functioning of heart and circulation, to really train and stimulate the heart, and to activate the muscles to support the lymphatic drainage. Exercise raises our metabolism and helps in blood oxygenation. Exercise also helps to lessen stress, thus contributing essentially to our psychical well-being.

Another important component of holistic therapy is to restore the mobility, especially in the presence of rheumatic diseases and vertebral column problems, among others. Here the mobility training, recommended by appropriate experts but also chiropractic therapy are of great importance.
Pain therapy such as Siener Therapy is also of great importance.

Which type of exercise, movements and sports are good and needed by each person is an individual aspect. This should be discussed with experienced therapists. Age, structure of the connective tissue, strength of tendons and ligaments, the loading capacity of the musculoskeletal play a significant role. Sports or even competitive sports at any rate are under no circumstances recommendable!

Psychosocial Surrounding

With this, we fundamentally mean the psychological situation we are in, especially the possibility to process and work out the influences of the daily events we are constantly confronting. The whole psychosomatic stress scope with our soul as the starting point, especially the procession of childhood memories.

To make it quite clear: To get well and to stay well is not just a task for the therapist. The therapist is in the position, through bioenergetic testing, to search for and discover the needs of these pillars. It is also the task of the individual to build up and structure these pillars by a healthy life style. Especially in holistic medicine the success of reaching the goal is dependent on the patient’s cooperation and his readiness to accept responsibility. The trained therapists of the Therapeutic House Martin Keymer have an extensive background knowledge, the prerequisite for a successful therapy.
